PRS turns 1 on February 1st, 2019
2018 has been a great first year for team Project Rohingya Sisu (PRS).
From a two-women team, we are now a mighty team of eight!
We truly couldn’t have done it without you.
A quick snapshot of our activities in 2018: 👭 PRS was formed in February 2018 in response to the mass exodus of Rohingyas into Bangladesh. 📲 We partnered with JAAGO Foundation, and raised funds to provide educational resources, emergency monsoon supplies and counselling support for Rohingya refugee children. ✈️ We flew to Bangladesh and made our way to JAAGO's Safe Haven, a safe space for children, in the Unchiprang Refugee Camp. 👫 PRS continues to provide mental health support by funding counselling sessions for children who may suffer from anxiety, depression and trauma as a result of their circumstances. 📹 We hosted our first event titled "Shades of Rohingya Sisu," to share with donors and future collaborators our plans for the future. We look forward to another great year in 2019 as we prepare to make our 2nd trip to the JAAGO Safe Haven.
