What Happened To Annual Trip #2

If you're following us on social media (Instagram and Facebook), you're probably already aware that our annual trip #2 was cancelled.

A lot of people have been asking us what happened. To summarise, our Project Rohingya Sisu team landed in Bangladesh Airport only to be sent back due to some visa issues that we were not aware of at the time of booking our tickets. While our team was taken aback by the turn of events, we are thankful that they were taken care of at the Bangladesh Airport before returning to Singapore safe and sound.

Although disappointed, we remain committed to our cause. A week after the trip was cancelled, we began discussing the next best course of action with our partner organisation, JAAGO Foundation @jaagofoundation. We aim to help the Rohingya children in Bangladesh in an impactful manner. We are grateful for the support and well-wishes leading up to the trip, and for the trust and patience that our donors have demonstrated after the trip got cancelled. All donors were sent private emails as an update on the situation and our team is currently ironing out our plans to honour all our donors, in terms of accountability.

More details about what we're going to do next will be in our upcoming post.

Thank you.
